Yes, I did get Kalvis' hair cut. No. I don't like it. I cried real tears on the way home from the hairdresser (I know I'm a loser). I miss his big moppy black hair. Luckily it grows fast. It'll be back in no time. He looks way too grown up now. Miss my baby.
This beautiful location is nearby, and a great place for picnics, playing, riding bikes, pulling wagons, digging in sand and eventually splashing around in the water. Both Livija and Kalvis love it. The plan is to meet Papa on his way home from work once a week through the late Spring/Summer/early Fall for a good old fashioned family cookout. It's things like this that make me so excited for the warm weather. I love starting all these little family traditions.

REMEMBER ME?
It's been a LONG time. My camera was in the shop for awhile.
Kalvis has been blossoming. He is sleeping much better. He continues to take little steps with encouragement. He's gotten up to 5 steps now! Turns out he loves walking on the new carpet. One more tooth poked through this week, bringing the tally up to 7 teeth!
The big news is his new word! In addition to Mama, Kalvis now says Papa! He bangs on the window yelling, "PAPA! PAPA!". He crawls to the cat door on the basement and yells down, "PAPA! PAPA!". Imants is thrilled.
It's going to be an exciting summer. Luckily the warm weather is peeking through! I have lots of new spring pics on their way.
