THREE MONTHS WITH OUR SON

There have been a few bumps in the road, but overall every day gets better with our little boy. These days he is a smiling, laughing, cuddling little sweetheart. He greets us with hugs and laughter. I can't imagine our lives without him.
Looking back on the blog and the pictures, it's amazing to see how he has blossomed in his new home. I look at this picture...

...and I see the sad boy. My tired little confused boy.
Now I look at these pictures...

...and my heart soars. There he is... the boy we met in Korea. He's home and I think he knows it. What a difference 3 months makes.

I always wonder what is going through their sweet little heads when they first come home. We have very similar pictures of Briar and it makes me sad to look at them, yet at the same time happy knowing how far they have come since then.

What a beautiful boy you have!!!!

So glad Kalvis has found his "home" and knows that he is safe, secure and dearly loved by all of you. His beautiful little face says what you know his heart feels. You're doing great!

Oh, my heart soars for you, especially seeing his sweet face. Can it really be 3 months already? Wow. So good to hear that things are going so well!

He looks happy and....BIG! He's really grown in these three months!
It's funny how it feels like he has always been a part of our family. It's weird to think to when he wasn't here.
