GET WELL SOON, PAPA

Kalvis came into the kitchen today and very proudly handed me this beautiful bouquet of dead dry leaves. Just as my heart was melting, he reached to take them back. I handed them back and he repeated, "PAPA PAPA PAPA" as he did his stumbling little walk down the hall to where his beloved Papa lie in bed with a fever. "Papa!" he said as he handed him his get well bouquet. More beautiful than any rose, if you ask me.

That is really cute!
I have a picture of the first bouquet of flowers Claire ever picked me. She picked a bunch of dandelions while on a walk with you. By the time they got to me they were just stems without any heads. Beautiful.

That is the sweetest thing! A true Hallmark moment. Thank you for making my morning a little more cheerful (it started off real bad). Kalvis is such a sweetheart.
